Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from the audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Apara Mehta and Gaurav Khanna, the show tops the BARC ratings every week. It enjoys a huge fan base on social media as well, however the ongoing track of the show has left the audience with mixed reactions. The drama in the serial is at an all time high as it is revealed that Anuj is Malti Devi’s son and Samar will die in a tragic accident after he and Dimpy will announce their pregnancy.

In today’s episode it will be seen that Anu will be over the moon after knowing that Anuj is Malti Devi’s son. In the flashback scene it will be seen that the warden recalls how Malti Devi gave a new born Anuj to her and went on to become one of the biggest dancers in the country. She explained how she raised Anuj for 8 years, until Mr and Mrs Kapadia adopted him. As Anu asks her to confirm the news, the lady explains that while she is not allowed to give out such details, she is telling her because she is Anuj’s wife. She even gives Anu, Anuj’s real birth certificate and donation slips from Malti Devi. She explains how while Malti Devi used to send donations, she never inquired about her son. Thanking god for uniting Malti Devi and Anuj, on the occasion of his birthday, Anupamaa decides to reunite the mother-son duo. On the other hand, Anuj gets tensed after seeing that Malti Devi is watching him from afar. As Vanraj asks about him, he is unable to explain why he feels uncomfortable around Malti Devi. As the Kapadias and Shahs wait for Anu, Pakhi informs them that her mother is coming. The family starts dancing on the songs chosen by Romil. Anuj, unable to make sense of the situation, questions Anupamaa about everything, where she reveals that Malti Devi is his real mother. This shocking revelation leaves everyone in shock. In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Anuj refuses to accept Malti Devi as his mother, despite Anu telling him about her findings. The show is set to take a dark turn in the coming episodes as it will be seen that the families are over the moon after Samar and Dimpy announce that they are pregnant. The men of the family go out to celebrate, however they return with Samar’s dead body leaving everyone devastated. Vanraj goes on to blame Anuj for Samar’s death.
